Professional musicians Amba Tremain and Col Lewis are in a number of musical projects together, including party favourite and popular dance outfit 'The Floor Fillerz'. It was down to their busy schedule and demand for the band that Maverick was born. A way to connect other great performers with clients looking for top entertainment. What started off as 'overspill gigs' for the pair, soon became an opportunity to build a reputable agency.

Many of their early bookings were fulfilled by talented friends on the local music scene, but since Maverick's launch back in May 2024,

they have secured hundreds of bookings, first class resident contracts and have branched out of their trusted friend circle, now working with top artists from all over the country.

Amba is a firm fixture on the live music scene. If she's not fronting classic soul show band 'The Soul Session' or singing alongside Col in 'The Floor Fillerz', she is performing her own music with her originals band touring the country. Amba has provided backing vocals for legends such as Boy George and the late Eva Cassidy and has been a professional musician, singer and songwriter for over 20 years. She has appeared on over 200,000 playlists worldwide with her covers projects 'Blame Jones' and 'Franklyn Jay' (who can be heard on TV shows such as Love Island, Greatest Dancer, Strictly Come Dancing spin off 'It takes two') She has even enjoyed recognition for her own music by BBC introducing and radio stations worldwide as well as being a regularly featured vocalist with British soul/blues vocalist Jo Harman and Stefan Redtenbachers 'Funkestra' gracing stages such as Indigo2 and Ronnie Scotts.

Col Lewis began his career at the tender age of 13, as a rock and metal drummer, playing for a number of bands across the UK. He settled into the function scene playing hundreds of shows with a number of artists, including Amba, which is how the pair met. Col has since been featured on many original recordings, been a feature player on BBC introducing, played live on BBC radio, been a session player for top vocalists and up and coming artists, played a number of huge festivals and makes up 1/4 of the songwriting team behind Amba's original music. A much sought after live percussionist, Col has also played alongside Gok Wan, Glitterati Promotions and is demand with The Floor Fillerz every week. Col has now stepped out from behind the drums to front country/rock band 'The Col Lewis Allstars' headlining festivals such as Country on the Coast.
